Children At Risk Meeting: Special Movie Showing

Every 3rd Sunday of the Month
Sunday, October 16, 2022
3:00pm-5:00pm
In the Sanctuary

We will be having a special movie showing of the documentary, "California's Forgotten Children: Let Their Voices Be Heard." It is a feature documentary that follows a diverse group of resilient survivors who have overcome commercial sexual exploitation as children and are changing the world by ensuring no child is forgotten. This film gives viewers the tools to combat this epidemic and empowers survivors on their path to freedom. We will also be having a panel discussion of the movie right after.

There are many injustices in the world today and here at Calvary Murrieta we desire to "speak up for those who can't speak for themselves and ensure justice for those being crushed. There are many avenues to do this, so we seek ways to help the victims, as well as find ways to help prevent them from becoming one. Children at Risk meetings is one of those avenues.
